"A designated space where individuals can feel shielded from harm, stress, and overwhelming sensory triggers"
The Nest Therapy and Supervision was founded in 2023 by Dannielle Greenwood and became a NDIS registered provider in mid-2026. The organisation provides a range of therapeutic services including direct Specialist Behaviour Support (NDIS), Lifetime Care and Support (LTCS), External Supervision and Workplace Training/Consulting. Our practice at The Nest Therapy and Supervision is driven by compassion, grounded by an evidence-based approach and is tailored to each person’s unique needs. We work alongside people, their families and support networks to reduce behaviours of concern, build upon skills, and improve quality of life through person-centred and trauma-informed approach.
Our approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and collaborative- working closely with families, support workers, coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to create sustainable, real-world outcomes that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.
We support individuals who may present with:
Emotional and behavioural dysregulation
Complex and high-risk presentations (e.g. hospital, justice, or homeless)
Cognitive and neurodevelopmental conditions
Mental health conditions and psychosocial disability
Our philosophy is grounded in understanding behaviour as communication. Rather than focusing on behaviour alone, we identify underlying needs, environmental factors, and skill gaps to create meaningful and sustainable change.
