At the heart of our practice is a person- centred, rights- based philosophy that guides everything we do within behaviour support. We work collaboratively with individuals, their families and support networks to draw on evidence-informed proactive strategies to build skills and create environments that better support a person. Our approach is grounded by dignified practice, focusing on the goals and needs of the individual. We complete high quality assessments and reports, in line with the legislative requirements set by the NDIS and Quality and Safeguard Commission.
We are constantly reviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of our behaviour support practices to ensure that the person's needs are being met, through positive improvements with quality of life.

We provide behaviour support and capacity building services to participants funded through icare's Lifetime Care and Support Scheme (LTCS), delivering the same high standard of assessment, intervention and evidence-informed practice. Our approach remains person-centred, collaborative, and grounded in a positive behaviour support framework, working alongside individuals, families, and support networks to build skills, create supportive environments and improve quality of life.

Our supports focus on building practical life skills that promote independence and emotional wellbeing. This may include emotional regulation, coping strategies, enhancing communication skills, routine development, and increasing community participation. All of which are tailored to the participant’s goals and daily life.

We conduct structured risk assessments to identify potential safety concerns and implement proactive, ethical risk management strategies. This includes tailored safety planning for behaviours of concern, complex environments, and high-risk situations to support participant wellbeing and reduce harm.

We provide training, coaching and mentoring for families, carers, and support networks to enhance an understanding of behaviour support frameworks. We specialise in workplace and practitioner training around restrictive practices, including protocol and assessment training for fade out plans. This collaborative approach builds confidence, improves outcomes, and creates supportive environments across home, community, and supported accommodation settings to ensure behaviour support and capacity building is as least restrictive as possible.

We specialise in supporting experienced and emerging positive behaviour support practitioners that are registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commisson. This may be a once off case consultation or an ongoing supervision arrangement, depending on the situation and complexity as well as the experience of the clinican invovled. Our method is creative, less restrictive and encompasses the 'think outside the box'. You won't just learn if something is or isn't a restrictive practice, you will gain the knowledge and skills in how to identify future potential restrictive practices and grow confident in assessing the whole picture, rather than the one issue.
